Mutiara Heights Spacious Seaview Homestay

This house is very good, nice, clean and big. The owner is a very nice person. All arrangement he done for us are very good and my family very satisfy with it. I definitely will go back again =)

The Apartment is very beautifully decorated. I can see Owner has done lot of good works . The rooms are clean and well kept.
I strongly recommend it as value for money deal.

Several friends and I stayed here during our holiday in Penang in May 2012. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The apartment is spacious, clean and comes well equipped with most household appliances guests will need.

I recommend anyone interested in looking for value-for-money and comfortable lodging in Penang to consider this apartment.

Thank you for your time and welcoming us to stay in your Mutiara Heights Apartment. Overall the homestay is clean and tidy. Just the shower rain in 1 of the master room is leaking and cause us can't use the bath room. Besides, I would suggest might have to service the air-con as well cause both the master room's air-con not so cold but luckily the room installed with ceiling fan. :)

the house is very suitable for big family , comfort and seaview ( love most) the environment is ok, but for toilet my family no very like ( no very clean ) .
for other is ok , in conclusion , i would love to stay in further again . =D

An easy place to find. The keeper was very helpful. Location is closer to Jelutong pasar, another nice place to sample good local unexpensive food. Rooms are comfortable, but only one room has an air-cond, rest are on normal fans.

Spacious apartment which accomodates all 10 of us with 4 rooms. We appreciate that the place was clean, well equiped with facilities (eg. TV, washing machine, wifi, heater, aircondition). We loved the view overlooking the sea and Penang Bridge.

En. Fauzy was very helpful and well mannered while assisting our checkin/out and queries.

Generally it was a comfortable and affordable stay and my family had a great time. We would like to thank the owner & caretaker for their great arrangements.

Nevertheless, the owner might want to look into these for improvement purposes:
1) Dining hall was warm as the standing fan was not working.
2) Maybe the other 2 bathroom should have water heater to avoid queing especially for big families
3) The utensils was well equiped but the most of the forks are rusty
4) Consider changing the queen bed in the 2nd master room as we can feel the spring and it was very uncomfortable.
5) The shower in the 2nd master room was leaking.
6) The right hand sliding door will sometimes get stuck, consider repairing.

Our big family would like to express gratitude to the owner because the apartment was very cozy, spacious and as described. The kitchen utensils are enough for short term staying. We will surely visit Penang and most probably rent the apartment again.
Bravo!! To the owners and friendly person in charge and I will surely recommend this apartment to my friends and family.

-The aircond of small room not cold and water leak from the aircond ,next day wake up ,my shirt and pillow become wet d (didt realise when i sleep maybe because too tired)
-Hope can provide more towel because 12 people sharing 4 towel @.@
-The swimming pool is very dirty ,hope can complain to management

Nice apartment, clean, and spacious, value for money, it's a very good short rental deal indeed.

The only problem I experienced was the traffic right outside of the apartment, the road is quite narrow and it could be quite though to go in when people park by the road side. My rental time is Raya eve, hopefully it's not that bad during other days.

Highly recommended when you have a group of guests.

Friendly, punctual, and helpful owner. The unit is clean and well equipped, not forgetting the scenic penang bridge view as well. Suitable for huge family that looking for budget and basic apartment to overnight.

Our big family really enjoyed our stay there. I can say that the facilities provided were complete. The view was excellent. The kids loved it especially the swimming pool. The apartment was also clean. There were 4 bedrooms n 4 bathrooms and we did not have to take turn for shower. However it will be perfect if the dustbin provided in the kitchen is a covered dustbin as for a big family like us we were actually did some cooking n preparing light breakfast for the kids. So it will b a bit smelly if we threw the leftovers into the open - non covered dustbin. Not only that, for the family with infant n toddlers all the dirty diapers will b placed into the same dustbin. So I hope u could provide a bigger covered dustbin. Just that, other than that I shall say that the place is a perfect stay for a vacation..

very spacious flat, clean and neat, and the seaview is fantastic! perrect for big family or large group of friends, value for money. The owner is very friendly and helpful too. I really enjoyed my stay.

Well to be short, we enjoyed out stay under your hospitality. The rooms are clean and tidy and we love the view of the sun rise in the morning through the balcony. Everything was superb. If another chance appear,we probably will go again.
Things to take note. Just wish that there are water heater for the other bathroom as well. That will be great as during our stay they are those who didnt felt well and we have to wait for a long time for them to shower one by one. (We dont mind the waiting just a suggestion to improve.)
Second I think would be the parking lot. Not sure if you can change that, a lower ground parking floor will be better as we do travel in and out alot.
Despite all of that, we sincerely thankful for being able to stay there.

Apartment is good, its offer a fantastic sea view of Penang bridge. Strategic location, conveniently and apartment is under good security. Rooms are cozy, clean, well maintain, spacious and comfortable. The overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend this apartment to all travelers.

I would like to commend the caretaker who cared to ring up to inform us that the tenant had moved out and we could check in early rather than the earlier information that check in time would be strictly at 2 pm as it was holiday season. The caretaker also rang up to find out our time to check out and accommodated our early check out time which was 7 am.

My family was not very comfortable with the surrounding and the common area of the Mutiara Heights. However it is really value for money short term rental.

The environment is quite good especially the sea view. the price is also very affordable.

1. Astro not working although we brought our own card
2. Bathrooms do not have mirror and a proper place to put our toothbrush, toothpaste, shavers, etc.
3. Shower tap dripping water at one of the master bathroom. Irritating during the quiet night.
4. One of the common bathroom toilet cannot flush
5. Wooden main door cannot close properly.
6. Wow, one of the parking lot is located at 8th Floor. You think "8 times" whenever your want to drive to town (haha).

All the above problems are minor but irritating. Other than that, this unit located at 24th floor is windy and cooling. The external view is fantastic, location strategic and convenient to move around. I don't mind booking this unit again.

Stayed in the apartment for two nights 23 and 24 Dec with my family. The apartment was airy and the view on the Penang bridge was good. However while the floor and general area was ok, the toilets looked scary. Stains in the toilets really put all of us off. The floor mats needed some hot wash. Out of all the beds, only a queen (in master bedroom) and a single (in room 4 ) fit to sleep. The springs in the queen in 2nd master bedroom literally poked your back. The rest of the beds are no better. An investment in replacing the beds is imperative and a good stain remover really will help.
